How Does De-coupling Improve Performance?

Decoupling is making the interaction between a subwoofer and floor so weak that virtually no energy is transferred between them. The SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System features rigorously tested optimized durometer elastomer feet that significantly reduces the transmission of subwoofer energy through your floor and walls. This allows low frequency effects to be transferred through the air where they can be felt, resulting in tighter and cleaner sounding bass, no more distracting buzz or rattle from the room, and better sonic clarity and dynamics.

Be A Better Neighbor

Infrasonic jolts and subterranean levels of bass bring our entertainment to life, but they can also disturb neighbors and roommates because the longer, low frequency sound waves travel more effortlessly through walls and floors than mid-range and high frequency waves. It’s the reason your neighbor can hear a helicopter descending much louder than glass breaking. The SVS SoundPath Isolation System drastically reduces the bass notes and low frequency vibrations your neighbors and roommates will notice.

A Discreet, Affordable Alternative To Subwoofer Platforms And Risers

The SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System feet come in a variety of thread sizes that easily screw into most subwoofer’s existing threaded inserts and subtly elevate the sub enclosure on a cushion of elastomer encased in stainless steel. The understated feet are a stylish, more effective alternative to bulky risers and platforms, at a fraction of the cost and also work with some turntables and other components.

    Soundpath subwoofer isolation feet

These isolators do exactly what they are supposed to do. Ive got them on hardwood floors and they make a huge difference. The bass seems more punchy and tight and ypu loose most of the unwanted vibrations and noise. I was so impressed I ordered a second set for an 18" home theater subwoofer im building. I ordered them off of Amazon prime and got them in 2 days. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because the first set I ordered directly from SVS took a month to get delivered compared to 2 days from Amazon.

Didn’t think it could get any better

Honestly, I was pretty attached to my PB16 Ultra. For the longest time, I thought it was the endgame—just massive, room-shaking bass that nothing could touch. So when I decided to upgrade to the PB17-Ultra R|Evolution, I was partly worried I was just chasing specs.

    I was wrong.

This isn't just "more bass"; it’s a completely different experience. With the PB16, I always knew where the limit was. It was loud, sure, but the PB17 just feels endless. That 2,800-watt amp is no joke—you can feel that the driver is under total control every second.

The biggest shock for me wasn't the explosions (though, wow), but the texture. I’m running it through my Arcam AV41, and usually, big ported subs can get a little sloppy or "thick" with music or fast movie scores. The PB17 is scary fast. It stops on a dime. You get that physical chest slam, but it’s clean—like, really clean.

When I watched Edge of Tomorrow again, those opening notes didn't just rattle the walls; they pressurized the room in a way the 16 never could. It wasn't just loud; it felt dangerous.

If you’re sitting there wondering if the jump from the 16 to the 17 is worth it, just do it.

    Nice Subwoofer/Nice Sound

They have handled all of the music and movies that I've given to them with ease and no distortion.

    Sub Isolation System

Like everything else from SVS the quality is excellent. I bought these to elevate the new SB-3000 above the carpet. They are great! Easy to install.

    Best of the Best

I didn't know what I was missing until I have received this monstrous of subwoofer. The sound depth of this subwoofer is beyond imagination. I have seen bunch of online sound demo review before purchasing but nothing compare listening live performing of this awesomeness. Its was a big investment for me but the love of a sound compelled me buying this subwoofer and every penny for it is well justified of a good investment for quality sound equipment.
