PC12-NSD – Our Most Affordable Powered Cylinder
The original SVS subwoofer was a cylinder design, and this unique and elegant form factor has since become an iconic symbol of SVS performance heritage. The PC12-NSD is our most affordable powered cylinder, but after experiencing its performance, no one would dare call it 'entry level'. Every component reflects SVS performance pedigree, and the PC12-NSD obliterates over-priced and under-performing brick & mortar subwoofers, even at twice the price. Prepare to be pleasantly shocked at what the PC12-NSD will bring to your music and home theater system – bass so accurate, detailed, dynamic, and deep that after one listen your old 'subwoofer' will be kicked to the curb.

NSD-12 Woofer – Best In Class Performance

SVS never stops improving the breed, and our newest NSD-12 has even better all-round performance than its predecessor. A more linear force/displacement profile, improved transient response with less 'overhang', and even wider bandwidth elevate the NSD-12 transducer to best-in-class performance. What does all this mean to the enthusiast? Tight, clean and accurate bass with lots of slam and impact – you'll be the envy of all your friends on movie night!

  • FEA-optimized motor with dual shorting rings and pole extenders to reduce gap induction and distortion.
  • 2" diameter, high-power voice coil with high-temp GSV former.
  • Nomex linear-roll super long-throw spider.
  • Exclusive SVS aluminum cone and composite dust cap for excellent transient response and resonance control.
  • Vented pole-piece for greater cooling, low noise, and reduced compression artifacts.

Sledge Amplification – Intelligent and Sophisticated PowerSTA-400D front 800
Our Sledge STA-400D amplifier sports technology and features simply not found anywhere else at this price point. Starting with a conservatively rated 400 watts of DSP-controlled power – a perfect match for the rugged NSD-12 woofer. You won't find old-fashioned analog pots on this amp – every control knob is actually a digital actuator for precise and noise-free adjustment. And comprehensive and flexible connectivity options allow for easy set-up and integration into any home theater or stereo system.

  • 400 watts of efficient, cool-running Class D power with 'green' standby mode.
  • Stereo line-level RCA I/O connections.
  • Separate high-passed and unfiltered line level outputs.
  • Continuously variable low pass filter.
  • DSP control for refined behavior under all operating conditions.

Compact Footprint, Efficient Performance
With only a 16.5" diameter footprint, the PC12-NSD will fit into almost any location, and no other subwoofer design offers more bass performance per square inch of floor space. Using vertical height to achieve a generous enclosure volume and a deep-tuned port, the result is excellent deep bass performance and outstanding mid-bass slam – all in a very manageable size. Finished in high-grade black velour fabric, this unique and elegant subwoofer will complement the most upscale décors and high-end theaters.

  • Small footprint fits into tight locations and is perfect for the enthusiast with limited floor space.
  • Slender vertical form factor results in generous enclosure volume for efficient reproduction of the deepest bass notes.
  • Down-firing woofer provides a low center-of-gravity and excellent stability.
  • Wide-flared 4" port for maximum air-flow with no artifacts.
  • 20 Hz tuning for optimal extension and output on all source material.

The NSD Experience – Discover Truly Affordable High Performance
The PC-12 NSD offers famous SVS pedigree and performance at a shockingly low price. Upgrade to the PC12-NSD and leave your old retail sub in the dust. Revel in bass so superbly rendered, music and movies will never be the same – you'll be rushing to listen to your entire collection again for the 'first time'. Truly affordable world-class bass in a unique and slender form factor – only from SVS.

The SV Sound PC-12NSD is my favorite subwoofer in my collection of speakers I have at home. It fills all of my requirements and is more than capable
of producing the Big Moving Waves of bass required for today’s must have home cinema movie experience. In the past I have bought Klipsch, Polk, KEF
and Atlantic Research subwoofers but they have not met my demanding requirements for producing the bass you can feel. I have also considered Hsu
Research, Outlaw and Axiom but the footprint of the subs were just too big. Also if you are considering a sub make sure you check with your Post
Office for shipping requirements. The most you can ship overseas via APO/FPO to a U.S. military base address is 70lbs. So weight plays a very
important part in considering the purchase of a sub if you live and work overseas. The PC-12NSD sub is cylindrical and takes up very little floor
space. I have it sitting in the corner of my living room. I have watched the following movies with jaw dropping amazement: King Kong, Spiderman 1,2
and 3, Superman Returns, Avatar and the list goes on and on. I am also considering a second sub for the other side of my living room which will
complement the other sub. During the weekdays I have to keep my sub turned down but on the weekends my sub really rocks.

Sv Sound
customer service is the best you will find in any environment. I received my PC-12NSD subwoofer last year. It was packed immaculately and arrived
without a scratch. Since I work for the military moving is a big part of my life. I work overseas and live in S Korea. During a recent move one of
the Korean movers stuck my subwoofer in the back of a truck which wasn’t fastened down. (There are lots of bumps and humps here in Korea.) Well they
hit a bump and out popped my subwoofer which landed next to a jagged patch of concrete with rebar sticking out of it. The rebar poked a big gaping
hole in the side of it. The Koreans told me what had happened and brought me the sub. I was not happy. The next day I emailed SV Sound and told
customer service what had happened. I informed SV Sound that I was able to salvage the speaker and amp but not the cabinet due to the hole in its
side. I told them I would like to buy a new PC-12NSD. Customer service told me to be patient and they would get back to me. The next day I received an
email which surprised the heck out of me. They told me they would give me a new cabinet without cost. My jaw dropped.

I received the
cabinet a few weeks later and I was back in commission. As always I received it without a scratch. This is one company you can believe in that can’t
be beat. The subwoofers are fantastic and customer service is outstanding! There is no other reason to go with any other company than SV Sound. />
I am one happy customer for life!

My church purchased two PC12-NSD subs to add to our Allen electronic organ. Although the organ already had ten 15"-woofers along with numerous
mid-range and tweeter speakers, the SVS subs add a dimention that was not there before. They move the air on the bass notes similar to the way a pipe
organ would do, and can literally shake the floor of the entire room. This is in a room that seats over 1,000 people! They were easy to incorporate
into the organ's circuitry, and the fact that they "sleep" when no signal is coming through means we don't have to worry about an on-off
switch. They are about three years old and have performed flawlessly. We highly recommend them and give them 5 stars.

I was in the market for a subwoofer in the $1000 range. I emailed Epik, SVS, HSU, and Rythmic with my room dimensions and listening preferences.
SVS, Ed Mullen specifically, responded with the most detailed and applicable information of any manufacturer. One response was extremely brief and
generic, another basically said "get the most expensive thing we have". SVS's customer service is the best of the bunch and it is quite
obvious they care about their products and the people who buy them.

My room dimensions are quite large, 25'x18'x8' for a total of 3600 sq
ft. This is a combo area with a living room, kitchen, and dining room. You need a very capable subwoofer to fill this amount of space...and the
PC12-NSD with sledge amp delivers. I replaced a Klipsch Sub10 with the SVS and I am astounded by the difference in clean bass, especially at the
lower end. When I first hooked up my sub, ran the MCACC from my receiver, I almost thought something was wrong because I wasn't hearing the same
things as before. That's because the Klipsch was playing sludge, boomy bass in the 40-60Hz range. The new SVS is nothing but spectacular in how
clean and tight it plays in all frequency ranges. I no longer heard boomy bass, but could actually hear the sound that was intended. I haven't
measured it yet but the in room response is easily down to 18Hz, even with a room my size. I do not regret for one second buying this sub over the
other manufacturers products.
The only aspect of this subwoofer that has not lived up to my expectations is the midbass slam. It doesn't hit
quite as hard as I was hoping but I attribute that to the large room size, room acoustics, and possibly EQ (I do not have any external EQ for sub,
just what's applied at the receiver). If I had the additional funds I would have gotten the plus version.
Overall, I am very pleased with this
subwoofer and would not hesitate to recommend SVS to anyone, and I have. Quality products, outstanding performance, and top tier customer service!
Buy SVS!

I knew nothing about SVSound, I gambled and purchased the PC12-NSD. />Frankly, I had decided to buy one of the more well known subs, you already know who they are.
I began reading reviews of subs on the Internet
and audio magazines, every mention of SVS were
positive. So I visited the web page to see for myself. The wording on the web page sounded to me
like
they knew the products they had were expertly crafted, and so they are.
The PC12-NSD is much larger than I expected, but is not
currently a concern.
On movie material it is perfection bordering on Weapon of Mass Destruction.
On music, and I experiment a lot with EQ
settings, it is equally adept. I have a most versatile system
integrating high resolution computer audio and an Denon AVR1911, with both digital
and analog
output. It is not and has not been the case that I purchased a product and feel confident that I have
spent the money well. To be
perfectly honest, the PC12-NSD has performed as I expected, imagined
and more...finesse.

We've had SVS subs in our households for the last 7 or 8 years. There's a reason why... they're simply the best value. My SVS subs have never failed
to impress. When it came time to purchase a new home theater setup, I did not hesitate to pick SVS. The PC12-NSD that we've had for over a year has
been a rock solid performer... especially at the sub 1k price point (and rivals those that cost more than 1k). My previous SVS sub had a slightly
larger driver (and was passive) and had therefore had a bit more kick... but this PC12-NSD didn't disappoint and fits our smaller space perfectly. If
you're on the fence... just go for it!

Amazing sub/value! Keeps up with my La Scalas. Have had it for over a year and have had zero issues. Great for music, excellent for movies!
Outstanding customer service helped determine the right sub for me. Would recommend to anyone!!

We enjoy our SVS PC12-NSD which we purchased about a year ago very much. We have a medium-sized family room with a better-than-average entertainment
system. Our original subwoofer from Atlantic Technologies just wasn't delivering the quality and quantity of lower-end frequency sound that we
desired. That was more than remedied by our SVS subwoofer (we named him "Harvey", since he has such a presence). What a difference! Great
sound and a good value. Recommended!

This subwoofer is the cream of the crop, it was recomended to my by a good friend of mine and I could not be MORE HAPPY! It has the best low end out
of any sub that I have owned and the mid range is AMAZING!! I would buy this subwoofer 1000 times over again without any hesitation. My room
measures 18'x12' with 8' ceilings. I have had this sub for about one year now and I'm still in love with it!

Secondly before I purchased
the subwoofer I called SVS and talked to one of the sales reps and he was so helpful in telling me which sub would be best for my room size and shape.
Very polite, and actually CARED ABOUT HIS JOB! That is almost imposible to find now days.

So to sum up everything i'm 1000% satisfied
with the subwoofer and the customer service! I WILL BUY FROM SVS AGAIN.

A big thanks goes out to EVERYONE at SVS for putting out a simply
AWESOME product!

This sub is exactly what I was expecting it to be based on the reviews I've read on other websites, and I couldn't be more pleased with it. It's
slated to go into my home theater once its built, but for now its supporting the low ends of my 7.1 system in the family room, which is 20x24 with 25'
ceilings, and I've only got it's balanced out at 1/3 power. While I wanted to go with the ultra, i'm extremely pleased with the PC12-NSD for the price
and I look forward to seeing it in action with a tighter room and more of a movie based listening bias. The real question is whether I'll even want
to move it or just go for a second one!

Purchase the PC12-NSD to replace a Boston Acoustics "theater in a box" sub that was just too boomy. With the PC12 I now have excellent tight
low end bass without the annoyning mid-range boom. The room that the sub is in measurers 17'x12'x8'

This sub is a reasonably priced and blew away a retail sub of a much higher price in a side by side comparison. It is in the corner of my room to the
left of my television. I really had no choice with placement because of room design. The room it is in has vaulted ceilings and is completely open to
my dining and kitchen areas. It also connects to the foyer, the open stairwell, and the hallway. I live in a split level home for those of you that
are familiar. My sub is used 90/10 for theater and music respectively. This thing is a visceral component of my movie viewing pleasure. I just can't
describe it with words to my friends. When I let them feel it they finally understand. I would recommend this sub to anyone who wants to better their
home theater. Excellent, monstrous sound for the price.

SVS is also great to deal with over the phone. Please keep that up as your company
grows. My final decision to purchase your sub came from a returned phone call when one of the other internet only companies did not return my call.
Making your customer feel important is paramount in any industry. You did well. Keep it up, and remember that you will always have a select few that
are impossible to please.

What can I say about the PC12-NSD? The entry level cylinder is a nondescript, basic subwoofer with oodles of power that doesn't seem to sacrifice an
ounce of quality to meet its price point.

What do you get? You'll find the PC12-NSD to have ample power to fill a small to medium sized
room (my own is 2500 cubic feet) with clean, tight bass. You'll get a subwoofer that excels at both music and movies. You won't win any style awards,
but the cylinder does a good job of blending into the background, and it disappears when the lights are dimmed. You also get service, real service.
They answer their phones and reply to e-mails promptly and professionally. The only improvement they could make is if they actually made house calls
like doctors did way back when.

Due to space limitations, we used two of these on a large digital classical organ installation and were able to achieve satisfactory musical results
in the 32' pedal voices.

We have also used three of the "cube" version under the stage in a 700 seat high school auditorium where
no other speaker we tried was able to "move enough air" required for th3 16 & 32' pedal voices of the digital theatre organ.
/>The technical advice and quick response by SVS staff is exemplary.

But, most important, these speakers outperformed other speakers
costing TWICE as much enabling us to use multiple SVS subs on other channels.

I have a 1500 cubic foot living/home theater room that has a 6'x7' opening to the rest of my home. My PC12-NSD is corner-loaded from four to ten feet
away from the listening positions.

This sub is excellent for music and an absolute beast for movies. I've owned (much smaller) subs from
Mirage, Energy, and Hsu Research, and my PC12-NSD performs as well as the best of them for music playback, but with its deep extension and enormous
output it sends them all home tail-tucked when it's time for home theater.

I really wasn't ready for the kind of impact this thing
makes--all my previous subs operated exclusively in the range above 25Hz, so I was used to *hearing* all the bass. With the PC12-NSD, all it took was
a single viewing of a modern big-bass blu-ray recording and I had a totally new perspective on it: a truly powerful subwoofer can make you *feel* the
recording. I'd never had this experience at home and until I bought this sub, I didn't really even know what it was like. Now I honestly feel like
no home theater setup can be called "complete" until it includes a sub at least as powerful as this one.

The combination of great
looks, quality materials, high output, low extension, and enough finesse to handle music passages in a lifelike and subtle way, makes the PC12-NSD a
terrific value. I strongly recommend it to people checking out ID subs around its price point.

this sub rocks, i have a 1400 cubic feet room and this thing fills it with ease, ive had a paradigm pw2200 v2 hsu vtf3mk2 klipsch sub12 velodyne
dls5000r none of them went as low and clean sounding not even the 15inc velo .sound is more clean seems faster, it plays loud but smooth .it is also
very good looking ha ha and fits so nice in the corner not sticking out in the room like the box subs. svs customer service was great in helping me
pick a sub not pushing me just told me what would be best, very happy with this sub and maybe ill get another soon ha ha.
