    Ease of yse

I picked this mic up to eq my sb5000 r/evolution subs for my living room. It was so easy to use. Just follow the prompts and do a few calibration spots in your listening area. Definitely a good buy 👌

    Auto Mic 2026

This is an excellent instrument for measuring sound dynamics on my newSB3000. The cord needs to be about 6 ft. longer for adjustments and it would be about perfect.

No brainer when setting up your subs!

Auto EQ plus this Mic brought my system to life! The before and after for movies was honestly surprising. Granted, I didn't run Auto EQ until the mic arrived. In any case, it's a relatively cheap add-on to ensure top performance of your subs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the SVS Auto EQ Mic used for?

The SVS Auto EQ Mic is a calibrated measurement microphone designed for use with SVS Auto EQ room correction. It captures in-room bass response data and helps optimize subwoofer performance based on your room acoustics.

Do I need this mic to use SVS Auto EQ?

No. SVS Auto EQ can use your smartphone's built-in microphone for measurements. However, the calibrated SVS Auto EQ Mic provides greater measurement accuracy for users seeking the most precise room correction results.

Can I use other external microphones with SVS Auto EQ?

No. The SVS Auto EQ Mic is specially calibrated for the system and is the only external microphone you can use besides your smartphone mic.

Will Auto EQ improve bass performance in my system?

Auto EQ analyzes in-room bass response and applies corrective filters to reduce peaks and dips caused by room acoustics. This can result in smoother frequency response, improved tonal accuracy, and better integration with your speakers.
