    Impressions: SVS SoundPath Speaker Level Subwoofer Adapter

    This high level to line level adapter for connecting subwoofers works exactly as advertised and is easy to use and connect. It presented solutions for two amplifiers of mine, which do not have the subwoofer outputs which I needed. My Pass INT-25 integrated has no subwoofer or line outs, and the SVS adapter has enabled stereo subwoofer connections to my SVS SB-5000 R / Evolutions. For my Cabasse Abyss streaming amplifier with only a single subwoofer output, I am using a second SVS adapter to enable high level to line level stereo subwoofer implementation with it as well. Keep in mind that with “Y” adapters, the SVS SoundPath adapter will also enable single subwoofer as well as dual mono subwoofer implementations according to desired configuration and system context.

    These adapters come very well packaged, their build quality is very good, and their appearance is tidy, tasteful, and straightforward. Jonathan and Nick at SVS were very helpful in responding to my inquiries about the use of the adapters. In comparison to other high-level two line level adapters in the marketplace which I considered, this one struck the best balance of quality design and construction and reasonable price.

    Great Quality; Would Love Attenuation Knob

    Quality was exactly as expected from SVS; excellent, as with everything I have purchased form them. Item performed exactly as described, and it incorporated into my system very well.

    As a potential improvement, I would love an attenuation knob to dial in the signal. I had to do a bit more tweaking than anticipated due to the level of attenuation. Maybe not a big deal for some, but I had to increase the gain on my subwoofers higher than I'd like.

    easy to use adaptor

    easy to use adaptor for a reasonable price, although this is the only way I have ever hooked my subwoofers up, I do not notice any degradation or ill effect using this, I am solely listening to music

    Outstanding Base!

    This adapter was exactly what I needed to add a Klipsch powered subwoofer to a 2 channel system without a Sub Out port. The folks at SVS really know what they're doing and I look forward to buying more of their 'Made in USA' products!

    Excellent little box

    This SVS box solves a tricky problem . . . I can now use my integrated amp (which does not have a "pre-out" or "sub-out") by basically now allowing my SVS sub to accept high level input (from the amp's speaker binding posts). Quick, clean, works seamlessly. Cannot recommend this device enough!
