    Great mic and I appreciate the long cord

    I ordered this microphone to help set up my two SVS SB-3000 Revolution subwoofers. I used the microphone’s on my iPad Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max as a comparison. Based on what I saw on the graph, there was a difference between what the phone and iPad registered versus this microphone plugged into my iPad Pro. While I can’t say I noticed a significant difference, my room correction seemed to sound tighter after using the auto EQ mic. Take that for what it’s worth. What I did appreciate was I that could set up the mic in different locations within my room without being directly in listening path because of the long cord.

    Microphone Worked Great

    I “purchased” the microphone using my SVS points, so essentially it was free. Having spent thousands of dollars for a pair of SVS subwoofers, it seemed silly not to get this SVS microphone for the best possible auto room correction results. Fast and easy to use.

    I am very happy that such a little device made such a big difference!

    I got the SVS Auto EQ Mic to work with the Auto EQ feature of my SB-17 R|Ultra. I had been using the mic on my iPhone and thought I was getting good results, but when I ran the auto EQ feature with the SVS Auto EQ Mic, the soundstage snapped into place. The bass didn't call attention to itself and was very organic, fast, and detailed to go with my Magnepan 3.7i speakers. I am very happy that such a little device made such a big difference.

    Great product

    The Svs auto Eq mic worked with not problem at all. It gave an accurate read for both of my new sb 5000’s. It corrected the slight imperfections and face me an almost flat bass response for both subs. I’m enjoying tight and deep bass!
