Works exactly as designed BUT the price increase…SMH

    The Good and the Bad

I own two of these units, although I ultimately sourced both outside of SVS at a significant savings. I now need a third, so when I saw today’s email “Introducing the SVS SoundPath,” my first thought was, Great—they’ve repositioned it and made it more competitive.

Unfortunately, it was the opposite. The price has increased by approximately 15% on a product that, by all appearances, already had a very healthy margin. I think this is a very poor strategic decision.

The good: The SoundPath is an excellent, well-thought-out product. It is a complete package, with essentially everything needed for installation included in the box. More importantly, it works. Mine connect reliably every time, and I have experienced no issues with either unit. That simplicity and reliability have real value.

The bad: At the new price point, the value proposition becomes much harder to justify—particularly in a category where there are increasingly competitive alternatives.

I own SVS flagship speakers and have long considered SVS one of the better values in high-performance audio. That combination of performance, value, customer service, and accessibility is a large part of what has built such tremendous loyalty to the brand.

That is precisely why I find this decision disappointing.

When a loyal customer needs another SVS product, the ideal outcome is that buying SVS again is an easy decision. Instead, pricing decisions like this encourage that customer to start searching…

    Game Changer for Multi-sub placement

I recently purchased these with a second receiver for my dual subs. After doing a sub walk around my room, I found the best two spots for dual subs. These wireless adapters made it very simple to receive signal without an audible delay to get my system setup just right. This was so much easier than the headache of routing subwoofer cables through the walls or the messy look of across the floor.

Would totally recommend these to anyone who doesn't have the best placement near their receiver.
