    Pristine Sound

    The build quality is excellent, and the sound is pristine! I can hear a noticeable difference in sound quality just replacing the 4 height speakers in my setup. The clarity of sound, particularly with music but also with upper sound effects like rain is surprisingly good. Moreover, moving from my old 3” Sony height speakers, the SPL in the room is slightly higher with the same volume setting on the AVR with these SVS speakers. Well worth the money, and would definitely recommend.

    The integrated mounts are also very convenient, and the included mounting template makes installation simple. These speakers were my second investment in SVS equipment, and I am quite pleased with the quality and sound immersion I have been able to achieve with them.

    Sound from above

    Great sounding little speaker. Rounds out my multi channel sound. Blends in and fills the upper room with sound. I use 10 gauge wire and banana plugs. This made it very difficult to get the bracket to lock in. Once together very solid.

    Sound good and matched well to my svs front soundstage.

    I have been slowly replacing various speaker components in my family room over the past few years. I had previously purchased a pair of pb-1000pros, prime pinnacles, and ultra center. These prime elevations are the latest purchase,replacing a pair of klipsch rp-500sa ii front heights . It's problably fairer to compare the klipsch rpii 's to svs's ultra evolution and not these primes, but the prime were on outlet sale so I'm giving them a trial.

    Unfortunately, my unique 2 story room with overhangs and ac vents doesn't allow me to use the provided multi bracket and get a good angle to my mlp for these as front heights, so I had to buy a 3rd party swivel mount instead and use the 1/4" mount hole connector. That said the multi bracket provided looks well designed and im sure will work great for the majority of people and "normal" rooms. My room is far from typical.

    I like that the svs emblem is magnetic and can be rotated based on your mounting orientation.

    I'm giving these a good trial. Once i'm certain, I'll get the wires run through my walls.

    Pros - cost efficient, light weight, transparent sound well blended with other svs speakers, emblem can be rotated.

    Cons - going from the larger/heavier klipsch to these, they feel a little cheap (physically), multi bracket may not work for unique room layouts, pin mounted grills instead of magnetic.
