Thoughtfully designed for acoustic excellence, the 4.5-inch mid-woofer is mounted in its own dedicated and completely sealed compartment to ensure smooth, precise and clear midrange and bass output that’s free from coloration. The cone material is extremely light and rigid and maintains a flat frequency response with excellent handling across the foundational mid-range frequencies.

The Prime Satellite speaker’s 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter is light, efficient, and rigid, and plays crystal clear at high volumes. The clarity offers a sense of utter transparency, while offering an ‘airy’ presentation and incredibly unveiled highs so female vocals and dialogue always sound natural, crisp and smooth.

    Big sound in a small package

    I'm using the Prime satellites with an SB3000R for a 2.1 (soon to be 3.1) PC gaming rig.

    Initially I was using a Klipsch Flexus 200 soundbar with the sb3000R and while it sounded great most of the time, occasionally the dialogue would get lost in the music or sound effects.

    I eventually decided to take the soundbar out of the mix and added an AVR + 2 Prime satellites for a stereo setup. Even with just the two speakers, I was able to get a phenomenal phantom center channel and it sounded fantastic!

    Since then, I have ordered another satellite to lay on its side as a dedicated center channel. I have no doubt this will get me exactly where I want to be.

    SVS has such great products. Love these flexible little speakers!

    Excellent choice i made !

    The construction of the cabinet is solid & super cool . Good binding posts for wires and the choice to mount them is an awesome idea too. Just set them up past Saturday and the first impression was very satisfactory.

    Would definitely try the prime center speaker but i wish that could be mounted to the ceiling somehow.

    Excellent

    Have these prime 5.0 combined with dual SB-3000 , it dosent work says almost everyone but the sound tells different. The soundbubble and punch is the best I have heard.
