3000 Series Subwoofers

The short version, these are amazing and you can't go wrong with them. I have them in a large family room like finished basement with about 4.5k cb ft and they still shake everything. Like the entire house everything. Long version. My previous house had a much smaller (less than half the space) finished basement. I had 2 pb1000s with a lesser overall system. Those were perfect for the smaller room and never had a complaint. Our new house has a much bigger basement and I upgrade the rest of my sound system. The pb1000s weren't bad, but they couldn't keep up. I was debating on going with the pb16s but for my needs and budget, I couldn't justify the cost. Nothing against them, they are just out of my range at this time. So seeing all the reviews raving about the pb3000s being a huge step up from the pb2000s and close enough to the pb4000s, I pulled the trigger and I'm not looking back. Plugged them in, app was set up and connected to them in seconds and that's it. I made a couple adjustments to my AVR but they sound amazing already so I might just leave them alone. They fill out the missing bass and punch the pb1000s couldn't pull off (still amazing speakers and I'm not knocking anyone with them). Couldn't be happier. My only very minor gripe, the order confirmation email said I would be receiving a tracking email once the subs had shipped and they said they would be shipped same day. Which they were and on day 2 I received a call from the delivery company. I never did receive a tracking email though. Like I said, very minor gripe and svs gets a ton of points from me for shipping as they stated and honestly arriving way faster than I anticipated. I ordered late night on Tuesday and the subs were in my house midday Friday. Anyone I know in the market for subs, I'm directing them right to the svs website.

I have experienced a few subwoofers. 02 KEFs Kube 8, 02 KEFs Kube 10, Definitive Technology Descent DN12, Sunfire True Subwoofer EQ 10 and now just one SVS 3000 Micro. I can say now that I'm happy. It's amazing what this little subwoofer can do for films and music. The SVS App is also a clear result of a team passionate for their mission. Congratulations SVS. The 3000 micro is a masterpiece.

Once I opened the box and placed the new sub in its corner (replacing a 20 year old Velodyne sub) it was basically plug and play. Downloaded the app, set it to Music and played the Dolby Atmos mix of Steven Wilson’s newest album and viola! fantastic sound. The bass hits just right. 👍

The SB 3000 has perfectly integrated with my B&W 702 S2 loud speakers. Filling out the deficit from 20-50 Hz with precise, musical bass. My listening room has never sound or felt better. This subwoofer absolutely cranks!!!
