Reviews Summary
Customers say this subwoofer delivers impressive deep, clean bass that transforms their audio experience. Many reviews mention its compact size fitting perfectly in smaller spaces while providing surprising power and impact. Users appreciate the smartphone app for easy adjustments from their listening position, though some find the interface occasionally confusing. Common feedback includes excellent integration with bookshelf speakers and tower speakers alike, with the sealed design providing tight, controlled bass rather than boomy output. While most praise its performance in small to medium rooms, some note it may require higher settings or dual units for larger spaces. Frequent comments address the quality construction and attractive finishes, particularly the piano gloss options.

Not bad but… / No está mal pero…

The subwoofer sounds good and is a good product but there is a detail that is disappointing, the amplifier has a frequency cut from 25hz down and even going down from 20hz the cut is very aggressive making it hear/feel absolutely nothing below 20hz or maybe 19hz, and there is no way to deactivate or modify that frequency cut, even by Reviews that I have seen, the ported equivalent PB-1000 PRO does not have that frequency cut or is not the same at least, I have seen it moving a lot its cone at 16hz something that the SB-1000 PRO can't do because of that frequency cut it has

    GREAT VALUE

Recently purchased the SB-1000 Pro to help round out the bass in my two channel audio system. Integrated flawlessly with my KEF Q900 speakers using the low pass output from my Emotiva PT-1 preamp. I highly recommend this sub. Easy to set up and app allows tuning the sub from your listening position using Bluetooth.

    So good I ordered another

Yes I know my TV is WAY undersized for my new living room, but my SVS subwoofers are not! Is a great setup for me playing both music in stereo and movies.

There was a PayPal snafu, but Scott in Arlington, Texas was all over it, and got the ball rolling seamlessly.

I’m looking forward to my next purchase, which will be two pairs of your white surrounds for 7.2, I just have to unpack the garage first.

    Velodyne ULD-15 Replacements

I had a Velodyne ULD-15 15-inch sub, $2,000 in 1990 ($5,000 in today's money!) that was irreparably broken. I ordered one SB-1000 Pro--I was very impressed with it for $600 but found it somewhat lacking in detail, depth, and headroom, especially as compared to the ULD-15. The bass was also localized, even with the crossover at 60 Hz, so I ordered a second SB-1000 Pro on the outlet sale. Headroom and depth are much better and the localization problem is gone. They now hold their own with the opening of Philip Glass's "Mishima" and Bartok's "Miraculous Mandarin"--two deep bass and volume torture tests. Jaco Pastorius' bass on Weather Report's "Heavy Weather" and Tony Levin's on Peter Gabriel's "So" are more detailed and sound just fine. For less than $1,200 I've come very close to replacing the ULD-15. Thanks so much!
