    Replaced little Satellite's with SVS Bookshelf Speakers

    Night and Day, The bookshelf speakers deliver sound quality not to be underestimated but more expensive speakers. These will blow your socks off listening to the pluck of the classical guitar music, to the thump of AC/DC to Bad Bunny. I will be enjoying these speakers for years to come. Thank you SVS Team.

    Evolution of my SVS 7.2.4 Sound System

    I retired as a professor of Special Education at Gonzaga University in 2012. In preparation for retirement I wanted a 3D TV and a surround sound system. LG came out with the first 3D TV with passive polarizing glasses versus the battery operated glasses ($125 a piece). I had set a goal of $1,000 for a surround sound system and had a strong recommendation for an Onkyo 7.1 system that I got for under $1,000.

    I really wanted to listen to Dolby Atmos and DTSX so a few years later I replaced the Onkyo receiver with an excellent Denon (AVR-X4300H) that supported a 7.2.4 set up. I initially added a 12” Polk subwoofer as my second subwoofer. It was a great upgrade, but the Polk driver died the next year. My next door neighbor, Jack, strongly recommended the SVS subwoofer so I got model SB12-NSD. Wow! Instant upgrade in my whole system. After 4 months I got a replacement driver for the Polk, but after a year the Polk died again.

    Sadly, my first SVS subwoofer died. It really hurt, but I wanted to repair it. I called SVS customer service and spoke to Nancy. Nancy checked with her supervisor and was able to send me a replacement driver. I decided to get a second SVS subwoofer (SB-2000 Pro with Bluetooth control on my phone (I put one subwoofer in the rear and one in front). Great decision to get 2 SVS comparable output subwoofers! Elevated my overall system instantly. Better than I had hoped.

    A year or so later, I decided I wanted to upgrade my system, but was not…

    Impeccable Sound Quality

    If you are looking for a high end listening experience at an affordable cost then look no further! I bought these along with other speakers from SVS because i was looking to upgrade my entry level logitech set up at the reccomondation from a guy on reddit. I could not be happier with the quality of my home theater now the range and performance of these speakers are top notch and I really can't see a reason to ever upgrade because of how great the quality is! Thank you everyone at the SVS team for your support and help! Sincerely a happy customer.

    Just amazing, what else can I say?

    Just upgraded from SVS prime bookshelves (which give you incredible bang for you buck, btw). These new Evolution bookshelves sound amazing right out of the box. I'm using these as mains for my living room (which is pretty large) and these have no problem producing sonic perfection at any volume! If you can't get the towers, definitely get these, you won't be disappointed!

    Bookshelf upgrade

    Had the sb16 sub with prime bookshelf speakers powered by the svs amp. Sounded good but I felt it needed more mid bass. Swapped out the primes for the evolution bookshelves and it was worth it. A Lil more mid bass and more profound highs. I wish svs would go up one more size on the bookshelf speakers instead of going to towers, but sounds great. Bigger bookshelf speakers I think might sound better at low volume instead of turning of turning up to get the sound you want.
