Inspired Design, Reference Performance.

Acoustically Centered Time Alignment Cabinet Architecture

Curved front baffle aligns the sonic emanation point of all drivers on a vertical plane ensuring sound from each driver reaches your ears at the exact same instant.

Maximizes phase coherence for more convincing and immersive soundstage with pinpoint accuracy and imaging.

Midrange drivers and woofers positioned above and below the tweeter allow for seamless crossover blending to create an idealized “point-source” where sound flows from a single point in front of the speaker to optimize dispersion characteristics.

Diamond Coated Aluminum Dome Tweeter

Through a process called Vapor Deposition, a layer of diamond carbon is applied to the aluminum dome tweeters to vastly improve rigidity and acoustic properties.

This breakthrough in material science raises the frequency response well beyond the limits of human hearing resulting in effortless, airy, and unveiled highs with no measurable distortion.

The diamond coating also pushes low frequency extension of the tweeter deeper for more seamless blending with the midrange.

Organic cell lattice tweeter diffuser protects the dome and employs semi-random pattern derived from organic cell structures to improve off-axis response and maximize the listening “sweet spot.”

Quad 5.25” Glass-Fiber Woofers in Force Balanced Array

Dual opposing active woofers on the top and bottom of the cabinet render effortless low frequency response while addressing room modes. Deep, authoritative bass is evenly spread throughout the listening area.

Mechanical energy from each front-firing woofer is equaled inside the cabinet by the rear-firing woofer eliminating mechanical coloration for pure, accurate low frequencies at any playback level.

Dual 4.5" Glass Fiber Composite Midrange Drivers

Superb stiffness to mass ratio on dual driver array renders stunning dynamics with flawless tonal accuracy.

Unrelenting Attention to Detail

Separate, acoustically tuned internal chambers for the woofers and midrange drivers optimize separation and eliminate any potential for cabinet resonances, resulting in pristine sound across the frequency spectrum.

Uncompromisng 3-Way crossover with premium components seamlessly blends driver output. Subtle musical details are rendered with breathtaking clarity, while massive dynamics radiate with weight and control from the highest to lowest octaves.

Precision-cast aluminum-alloy baskets ensure precise alignment of critical components and maximize thermal dissipation.

Chamfered front baffle minimizes edge diffraction for optimal off-axis frequency response.

  • Midrange-to-woofer crossover: 170 Hz

Cabinet:

  • Acoustically Centered Time Alignment architecture.
  • Acoustically-centered architecture orients the mid-range and woofer arrays in rotational-symmetry around the tweeter, ensuring that low, mid, and high-frequencies emanate from the same effective point in space, creating a coherent, integrated, faithful acoustic image.
  • Time-aligned cabinet geometry introduces microsecond-level time delays between the drivers, ensuring that the effective acoustic-center of each driver is equidistant from the listener. The result is improved linearity and directionality throughout the crossover frequencies, and a more accurate soundstage.
  • Quad 5.25” woofers in Force-Balanced Opposed Array energize any room with deep, accurate, evenly distributed bass, while contributing a net-zero vibration force to the cabinet and other components.
  • Dual 4.5” midrange drivers share a dedicated acoustic-suspension enclosure, symmetrical around the tweeter.
  • Chamfered front baffle and flush-mounted drivers reduce edge diffraction and improve on-axis and off-axis high-frequency response.
  • Extra-thick 1” (25mm) driver baffles ensure a rigid, resonance-free mounting for all drivers.
  • FEA-optimized ¾” (18mm) cabinet construction, extensive bracing, and acoustic insulation eliminate acoustic and structural resonances, ensuring an inert enclosure and an uncolored response, even at the highest drive levels.

    Upgraded my 2 Channel System!

I am so impressed with these speakers! Talk about taking my system to the next level…

For years I have really enjoyed my Martin Logan Electrostatic speakers for 2 channel playback. The airiness and the wide soundstage drew me to the electrostatic sound. Last year I had upgraded my Theater Room speakers to the Ultra Titan speakers. After living with them for several months, I decided to see what they would sound like on my two channel system. I was really curious if my tube amp/integrated setup could push the Titan’s. I must admit, that was a mistake. They sounded so much better, both my wife and I could not believe how much we were missing! Since we listen to music more than we watch movies, I kept the speakers downstairs (in our main Family Room) for a couple of months. But every-time we wanted to watch a movie, I could tell how much my system was suffering without the Titan’s upstairs in the theater room. So, I took them back up. By doing that, our 2 channel system really suffered. With every record or CD we played, we missed the full sound that SVS speakers produced. So, I knew that I needed to start saving to change out my music system speakers.

The SVS Ultra Evolution Tower speakers gave us a sense of the airiness we liked so much with the Electrostatic speakers. But what the SVS do so better, is the mid bass, the heaviness that the EL speakers just did not do! We were already running dual SB-3000 subs with the Martin Logan speakers so we decided the Ultra Evolution…

    Sounds great and looks amazing.

Upgraded from a midtier Klipsch tower speaker set. Well worth the upgrade. Dedicated drivers for high range, mid range, and base. The clarity and the quality of the sound coming out of these speaker is amazing.

    WOW. Amazing speakers!

I’ve owned and auditioned more tower speakers than I care to admit over the last 20 years, including several well‑known, reputable brands. Never did I expect that SVS — a company I only associated with subwoofers — would deliver one of the best tower speaker experiences I’ve ever had. I simply never gave them a fair shot… until now.

After purchasing and returning multiple towers in this price range over the past three months, I finally decided to try SVS. I’m thrilled that I did.

Sound Quality That Just Feels “Right”

The first thing that hit me was the fullness, separation, and expansiveness of the sound. These towers present music the way it should sound — natural, balanced, and effortless. I’ve been re‑listening to my entire music library because everything feels new again.

    Zero Fuss, Zero Tweaking

What really surprised me is how good they sound right out of the box.

No reaching for the bass or treble trim.

    No endless placement experiments.

    No hours of EQing.

In my room, these towers sounded better without EQ than all the other speakers I’ve tried sounded with EQ and tweaking. That alone is worth celebrating. Now that I have EQ'd them, they sound even better.

Bass Performance That Makes You Rethink Your Setup

These speakers are so competent across the full frequency spectrum that I’m seriously considering ditching my subs. I never thought I’d say that about any tower speaker in this price range.

    An Absolute Steal

For the money, these towers outperform everything…

These speakers punch way above their weight class.

I don’t normally stop to write a review.

    1. Interesting looking

    2. Sound quality is on point (little bass heavy but DIRAC fixed that.

Evolution Towers in Dedicated Theater Room

Been a fan of SVS for years now and decided to match the Ultra Evolution Towers and Center with dual PB-3000s. Ended up going with the Evolution Towers over the Titans as my bass was going to be handled mostly by the subs and was fine sacrificing some bass from the Towers. Great choice, saved a few bucks, and I couldn't be happier. Compared to the Prime Towers and Center they are replacing, along with a full 7.2.6 set up, running the same room eq and utilizing the same Emotiva Basx A3 amp for the front stage, the Evolution Towers make the system more balanced and dialed in with the superior sound and excellent imaging over the Prime Towers. The Prime series were good in the theater for years and are now in use in my living room, I just didn't realize there was this much more to be had until I heard it myself. They also sound excellent in stereo listening to music both with and without the subs, but they are 95% used for movies. Been a great buy and I'm still smiling after several months. I would make the same decision again if I had to do it over.
