Source Component

Prime Wireless SoundBase

An electronic device that provides an audio (and possibly video) signal to an A/V system. Examples include turntables, CD players, Blu-ray players, streaming boxes, and cable/satellite boxes. Source components are found at the beginning of any signal chain. An audio source component generally feeds its signal to a preamplifier, which sends its signal to a power amplifier, which sends its signal to speakers.
