SoundPath Isolation System: 2 Foot Add-on

High quality solid feet that perfectly mate. If they are as valuable as SVS portrays them to be, then I would have been happier if they were just included as a standard item with the woofer (even if you had to pay a little more). SVS Ultra Subs are a high quality item. Anybody ever buy a Ferrari and then after the purchase hear, “this baby would be even sweeter if we took those inadequate disposable little tires off and sold you some real wheels” Be aware that an Ultra takes 6 feet but they come in packs of 4. On the phone SVS kindly let me order just two more, but 6 or 2 is not an option found on website. So, after purchase #3 (1.sub lacking feet, 2. order of four feet, 3. order of two feet) it is nice. They market them with the idea that their isolation rubber will help detach some vibration and it does. Maybe you like what they do, or maybe you actually bought your huge sub with the desire to shake the floors, walls, pots and pans…… if you did then consider if you actually desire to detach it. Mostly a good review. SVS customer service is very attentive and nice to deal with.

I've just added 2 SVS Sub isolation feet to the previous 4 I've had for several years on my older sub. The first thing I thought about when I discovered my newly purchased Sub beast had six feet instead of four was to call SVS about acquiring the two additional.

There are two things to say here. First, the care and consideration I received when I called SVS customer service about my issue was exemplary. I really came away feeling good about being a customer of this company...and taken care of...on the smallest of relative purchases really. That speaks volumes (to me) about the company's service culture and company overall.

Second, the product itself. I discovered the SVS vibration isolation Sub feet in a Sound & Vision review years ago. It was a sterling review for a product reasonably priced with a perfect satisfaction guarantee. I was also realizing that the audio low-end frequency issues I was experiencing in my primary A/V theater & listening room was disappointing while also fitting what this review was suggesting the SVS Sub feet were designed to correct. I figured I had nothing to lose trying them out.

After installing, my low-end audio oddities disappeared. The only conclusion I could make was it was my newly installed SVS feet. I doubt I'll ever install a sub going forward without them. I highly recommend giving them a try!
