Impressions: SVS SoundPath Speaker Level Subwoofer Adapter

This high level to line level adapter for connecting subwoofers works exactly as advertised and is easy to use and connect. It presented solutions for two amplifiers of mine, which do not have the subwoofer outputs which I needed. My Pass INT-25 integrated has no subwoofer or line outs, and the SVS adapter has enabled stereo subwoofer connections to my SVS SB-5000 R / Evolutions. For my Cabasse Abyss streaming amplifier with only a single subwoofer output, I am using a second SVS adapter to enable high level to line level stereo subwoofer implementation with it as well. Keep in mind that with “Y” adapters, the SVS SoundPath adapter will also enable single subwoofer as well as dual mono subwoofer implementations according to desired configuration and system context.

These adapters come very well packaged, their build quality is very good, and their appearance is tidy, tasteful, and straightforward. Jonathan and Nick at SVS were very helpful in responding to my inquiries about the use of the adapters. In comparison to other high-level two line level adapters in the marketplace which I considered, this one struck the best balance of quality design and construction and reasonable price.

SVS SoundPath Speaker Level Subwoofer Adapter

The SoundPath Speaker Subwoofer Adapter worked perfectly to link my 5th NEW SVS Sub (the 3000 Micro Subwoofer) with my "Vintage 1983 Yamaha 2 Channel Stereo System", that I brought back to life. Such great engineering of this product on SVS's part, to make the adapter easily work with my vintage system. Thanks again! Jim

    Connecting subwoofer to vintage speakers

I've owned a set of Klipsch speakers since the early 80's. I love the speakers but always thought they needed more bass. I picked up a sub woofer and then found out that I needed an adapter to use it with my older speakers. After some research I went with the SVS Soundpath speaker level adapter. The adapter works exactly as advertised and was easy to install. I highly recommend this adapter.

    Superb "after the sale" support

I have a complicated bi-amped and bi-wired speaker set-up, and I had trouble getting the subwoofer adapter to work. I emailed SVS support, and immediately received a clear graphic that anyone could follow easily. I installed the adapter correctly, and then adjusted my graphic equalizer, because the highs were immediately clearer and more crisp. This is highly recommended if you have a vintage system.
