Designed with isolated SoundMatch two-way crossovers for each tweeter and woofer, the SVS Ultra Surround can operate in bipole, dipole, or the unique SVS Duet Mode, which creates two separate speakers in a single cabinet.
In Duet mode, each set of drivers in the Ultra Surround speaker receives a discrete signal, so your system can deliver a true 7-channel surround sound experience using only 5 surround sound speakers.

I had to wait to write this until the Ultra Surrounds arrived. I am completely satisfied with this purchase. It seems that the sound encompasses the room so much more than my prior system. In stereo mode, the towers are fantastic. Good sound range from top to bottom. Listening to movies is fantastic, clear voices, great mid-range and pretty good base even without my subs. Was watching golf and when the clubs rattled in the bag, it sounded just like as if you were on the course with your own clubs, just great clear sound.
SVS support has been great and very helpful as well. I definitely recommend the speakers as well as the company. Now my only question is how long I should wait before getting some SVS subs. Wish I had just a little more space in my room to fit in the subs better.

Absolutely amazing!! I love the clarity and sound quality of the ultra system. Even with only a 90watt Onkyo receiver the speakers perform flawlessly and I hear things I never did before. I like these so much I just ordered 2 more ultra surround speakers for my left right surround. I also can't wait till I buy the Dennon receiver and push 230 watts to these. Easily one of the best speakers setups I bought in a long time.

I already had the dual SVS SB16-Ultras and four Prime Elevations used for Dolby Atmos. All that was missing was the floor layer speakers. Of course they had to be SVS Ultra Towers with matching Center Channel and four Ultra Surrounds! Now with 13 SVS speakers enveloping me in immersive sound what more could I do? In steps Auro-3D so now I need to add six more Prime Elevations to include Auro-3D 13.2 to my Home Theater System. Thanks SVS for making my choice a no brainer. The depth of sound is nothing short of dramatic. I am now covered for both music and movies with the only decision being which surround format to choose. Life should be so easy...

Really top of the line speakers , great shape sound specs , I was pretty blown away when that pallet came to my house , I can't wait to add duel subs and elevations , over 30 years I've been in the hobby, SVS are the real deal
